Whats your feeling about winter kill out there ? Been seeing on the news about the feeder cattle and was wondering if the snow is bad all over. Ive always hunted nothwest of Gunnison , just wondering about next fall.

The western slope hasn't gotten much snow in comparison to the Front Range. We're about to the tipping point where weather isn't going to have a great impact on herds, unless we have a major, major event.

I'm not sure of the conditions on the Front Range. Lots of snow over there, but I think the deer will do ok. I'm a little concerned about antelope in the SE part of the state.

Here's a link to an article on the current snowpack:http://www.chieftain.com/metro/1168075337/5

Mid Colorado/western slope, we haven't had anything for snow this year. I can't beleive the ski resorts can ride the snow wave(Hype) of Denver.
