co with 8 pnts elk

well after az turned me down even know i put in for a unit with 100% odds at my point level i am left thinking i wont be archery elk hunting unless i burn points in co or go otc and did that once and rather not again. i had been planning to wait two more years to return to a unit i hunted in the past but now sitting down and trying to figure out what makes the most sense.

looking for any advice from anyone that was at my point level recently or i guess i should say drew a unit that might still get in with 8 points this coming year.

not looking for a trophy but more of a opportunity hunt. rather have lots of animals than a shot at one great one.

i have two units in mind but hoping to pm someone that might have some recent experience in them

rather pm with anyone that might have some insight on co units in my point range

With point creep 66 might end up just out of reach. Was 65% @ 8 points last year
