CO Unit 40 Archery Mule Deer?

I am planning on archery hunting unit 40 in Colorado next year for mule deer and was looking for any advice on the unit or even other units you may suggest. I am looking more for a foothills hunt, spot in stalk in canyons or intercepts coming onto agriculture fields. Never hunted up high, but I see in the unit it has the Grand Mesa forest but not sure what hunting that would be like. Thanks for any help you can provide.

There is alot of private land in that unit. I work with guys that have gotten it done on public, but it can be tough.
