Chasing Gold

I'll keep it short and sweet- I've had golden trout on my bucket list for 20 years or better. Took a one night trip last weekend to scratch them off it. Nothing huge, but well worth it.

Hiked in, set up camp, made dinner, started fishing. Those who know the place will know it, but I'll choose to leave it anonymous here.

Best one of those I ever caught was at Lake of the Ozarks- big, bright orange one with a white forehead- somebody's trotline bait that got off the hook, based on the scar. Was about 4 lbs.
