Found out that my request to change my Colorado elk application change was not done and my application went thru as a first rifle season instead of muzzleloader as I requested.

That happened to me to. That's why they have the disclaimer on the application sheet. How do you find that out already?

I called Denver after looking at my application on record. It still says first rifle season. I explained I had a copy where I made a change on April 5th from first rifle to muzzleloader, but was told there two many made changes to get to all of them and it looked like mine did not get changed. OH well . If that is the case,I will apply for a refund for my muzzleloader deer.Cannot make two trips in the same year.

I wouldn't throw the towel in just yet. I changed my hunt code last year for deer and elk. Deer was processed, Elk was not. Both still showed the original hunt codes on my online application. Bottom line is nothing is set in stone until the 1st. Even the back door method failed me in the past trying to determine if I even drew a tag.

Yes ,going to set tight till the 1st,still hopeing. But I am O.K. either way.

Go to the CPW website,go like you want to apply for a license, click on Big Game and turkey application, then click on deer or elk and it should bring up what you applied for.
I made copies of all my applications and also copies of any changes that I done and the dates they were done.

I put 3 choices for my deer app and all I know is I drew a tag with the 590 code...now I'm chomping at the bit to find out which choice I drew :W:

WELL....mine still says 55 3rd so I am still in the waiting game to see what I drew
