California Updates Deer Management Plan

For the first time in almost 40 years, California has updated their deer management program. For the few of you out here, public comment is due by April 30th.

Not sure what the trigger was but I'm glad to see the effort. I recommend you give the plan a read, if cats are your concern there are several points, when implemented, in which they will quantify non-hunting mortality.

There's quite a bit of good information in the plan, with some question marks for sure, but get your comments in by April 30.
