Ca success for my son

After being skunked the past several years. My son persistence in harvesting meat has finally paid off… this little guy is obviously not going to win any awards. But I’m proud of my son for keeping at it, making a quality shot and getting food for the table.

This is his first CA buck (we’ve been successful in Ohio several times). Taken with a compound bow at 27 yds, quartering away.
