I have a 686 and an original python. Theres no comparison, the python wins hands down for fit and finish. If it were a .44 mag Id be looking at the ruger redhawk and the anaconda.

It’s still my favorite over-all handgun after trying lots of rotators and pistols.

I like the hard/rubber smooth grip better than the soft finger groove versions. The Match Champion and Lipsey half-lugs are even better yet!
