burris handgun scope experience

I was thinking about putting a burris 2x7x32 scope on a BFR chambered in 30-30. Any input is appreciated.

I was thinking about putting a burris 2x7x32 scope on a BFR chambered in 30-30. Any input is appreciated.

I think it would work great. I have a 2x7x32 Simmons Gold medal pistol scope on a .308 and 22-250 Encore pistol barrel and love them. Simmons stopped making these in the late 90's or early 2K. They were a truly good scope. I will say I cannot hold it steady enough on high magnification without a rest.
