It’s always fun breaking in a new pair of mountain boots. Had to buy a pair of un insulated for a South Texas Aoudad Hunt in December. I have another pair that are 10 years old but the 400 grams of insulation makes the feet hot. Kenetrek boots last forever.

Yes, they do.
After 15 years I had to send in mine for a retread and fix-up job.
Less than $200 and they're like new again, I expect them to outlast me now. Never gave it a thought that I was getting boot the will last three decades.
I use them a minimum of once a week and almost every day from September to January.

Got a blister today. But that’s why you have to break them in and build those calluses.

I bought a $69 pair of Red Head hiking boots from Cabelas for trip to Africa. I wore the same boot the last trip in 2019 and they worked great. This trip I wore them every day brand new and no break in needed. Not a blister or a callous. I hunt hard and can't get the soles of even a top of the line expensive boot to last three seasons. Road salt everywhere up here in winter takes a terrible toll on footwear. Makes no sense to invest a lot.
