I have been hunting with Maine black bear outfitters since 2016. In that time I've tried three different outfitters (four, if you count my 2014 hunt with a NH outfitter who also does Maine hunts).
I've switched outfitters to learn which ones are good and which are not, but I don't want to become a full-blown science project. So I'd like to ask anybody here who has hunted with a Maine black bear outfitter for their opinions. Next year, I'm taking my daughter with me, so I'm going with a familiar outfitter that I trust, but I'd love to hear what others have to say.
