Howdy all. I am getting ready to send in a deposit for a black bear hunt in BC for next spring. I had a partner that was all in until I said it is time to send in the deposit. I am not against going solo, but it is an extra $800 and I thought it might be fun to go with someone from the board.
I am not sure if there is any interest, but thought I would throw it out there. Double edged sword, would like someone to join me, but don't want too many to want in and I have to make a decision of whom to choose. Cross that bridge when and if it occurs.
I am willing to send any info to those interested, but here are a few details.
The trip is 871 miles from here and I plan to drive. A 2x1 hunt is $2,950/hunter and a second bear can be harvested for a trophy fee of $750 (plus $192 tag) only if a critter is taken (this may include a wounded bear, I forgot to ask that question). Wolf tag and first bear tag is included in the price.
