While in Utah this week I took my boys up on Grandpas hill to do a little shooting. There was a cut bank with about 100 swallow nests in the side of the hill. We went over and were peeking in the holes and almost all of them had baby swallows in them. Then I peeked in one and saw this (sorry for the crappy cell phone pic).

I thought he might have a rattle on his tail so I "coaxed" him out with a stick. When he came out, 2 dead adult birds came out too but no babies. Just a blow snake. The boys thought it was cool and we let him go on his way.
