Good lists-some light and quick-some prepared.

My chest pack holds let's say-essentials and emergencies case dependent but it always has at minimum:

Main compartment:

Two tuna packets-two electrolytes packets for water-2 granola and a small pack of shelless pistachio In the pocket behind the knife

Battery bank-knife-phone


Opposite that-epipens, headlamp, lighter and duct tape-charger for headlamp battery.

Bottom is spoon and a few 3.5"/5" blades.

Inside the zipper is a few benadryl, Tylenol, wrap, piece or two of duct tape, a c-note-ids and licenses.


There's an additional, smaller, compartment infront of that-what goes in there is a crap shoot. Right now it's fishing gear:


But it could also be where the handgun goes, or binos, or nothing, or randomness. But compartment 1 is edc stuff-compartment 2 will be task oriented.

Dimensionally, the thickest it would be is now given the bait canisters and forceps. Vortex for comparison.


It's comfy and is more or less my "day pack". Reduces taking my pack on/off to grab 1 thing.
