Best time (usually) to rifle hunt a type 6 in WY unit 9

Alright all you WY unit 9 hunters, I'm trying to capitalize on a Unit 9 type 6 tag with only a few days available to me. My question is: what timeframe is usually the best to be able to see cows in a small window as I will not have but a few days to hunt. I'm guessing after the snow pushes them down and probably onto Sheep Mountain. I thought I'd get some real, honest ops here instead of on fascist book in a hunt group there.

Only was able to hunt about 3 days but did see a group of cows in a timber cut one morning just after light. Unfortunately, the sound of ATV's had them leave in a hurry before I could get a shot at one. I had one fella that was a guide in that area tell me to hunt the edges of the forest as they go onto private and will move onto the edge of the forest at times. Hope that helps you.
