We had another gully washer of a rain storm here today. My son called and said it was really raining on the east part of the farm, I headed that direction and found a river flowing through my onion field. I've caught nice trout in streams smaller than this one, but as dirty as the water looks I don't think trout are going to make it. Now, my son knows it's going to be too wet to do much tomorrow so he's already hitting me up to go to town for a new rifle. Tikka or Howa???

Looks like you must be over in the basin somewhere. We have had a couple of those over here also. Some garbanzo fields that have major ditchs in them now, and standing water still. Wish the rain would hold off a while so we can finsish spring work before its summer.

nbell, we're southern basin, the closest town is Paterson (that's if you call Paterson a town, it's probably approaching 100 people - if there's a few visitors in town)

Ouch, you have my sympathies, that's going to make quite a washout. We've got a 30 acre lake in one of our fields right now where spring wheat should be.
