Bear Hides

What does everyone do with their bear hides? I have 2 rugs already and I plan on continuing to hunt bears as it is one of my favorite spring activities. I kinda feel weird selling them... if that is even legal?

Check with your state regs, but they sell them at the North American Fur Auction along with all other fur. They don't bring gobs of money, but not too bad either.

Eidnes hide and fur in Moscow Idaho will buy them primarily for taxidermy use, might be an option for you.

Hair on garment tan for a robe, not a rug. Friends, loved ones, or a cold stranger if you are so inclined. I know it ain't cheap but it's the thought that counts, not your money.
