Actually I haven't seen a Shooter buck yet this summer. Up until this Sunday, we've had the $hittyest weather for scouting. Hard to see in the highcountry in whiteout conditions :BLEEP: But, before now, growth isn't the greatest anyways. Plan on hitting the highcountry every weekend from now till season opener. Just set out a Muley Cam this weekend on a natural mineral lick. Never have used it before so we'll see what kind of results I come up with. I've never seen a deer on the lick before but there are always tons of HAWG tracks all over it, meaning they are probably hitting it at night. Only critter I've ever seen on it in daylight was a wolf, so maybe I'll catch a few other critters on film too.
