Rumor has it that the story was supposed to be told in the AZ republic.The guy was suposedly offered 2 million bucks for it from some Calif collector.I spoke with G&F (wife works at the front counter) this morning and they haven't seen it yet.My wife is looking in to it,so maybe I will get more later today.

I just got a phone call from Glen. He says the bull measured 452, green scored. I believe he said it was 9X11. THe guy who took it, had been tracking it for 5 months. It seems that he is not telling anyone where it's being dried for final measurement. He heard that the cash offer was one million dollars and was promplty turned down.

The story at bowsite.com said the hunter who was a first time elk hunter heard a bugel and heard some thrashing as he approached saw a bull. shot and then found out how big he really was.... had no idea of the size. ????
