AZ Elk anyone want to come along?

I got lucky in the draw and drew one of the best, if not the best, late season elk tag in Arizona. My odds were 1%. I just wanted a point so I threw my name in for a bucket list type unit and I drew. I doubt I'll ever draw this unit again. I am currently going solo. None of buddies are currently able to go. In all transparency I hunt hard. This unit has some nasty country and it'll probably be cold. The area I'm planning on hunting is 3.5 miles to 8.5 miles in so it'll be physically demanding. I might see if I can get horse to help otw out depending on where/if I get a bull.

I'm going no matter what and I've killed a good many bulls solo, but the area I'm looking at could get gnarly on a solo pack out.

Anyone want to go? Should be an awesome hunt with potential for a giant bull.

If my brother wasn’t getting married that week I’d definitely be game! I have managed to hunt or help on hunts the last 3 years in a row in Arizona it’s become my favorite place to go.

Just fyi my dates are Dec 5-11. I know that might give away my unit but it’s not like it’s some secret unit anyway.
