AZ Coues WT down.

Bagged this guy today...

Pretty simple except for the terrain. He came out in the bottom of the canyon and four shots later, 3 of them hits, at 268yds I had my 2004 deer.

I usually will shoot any legal buck but since I filled my archery cow elk tag the freezer was full and I could be a bit more selective. This is as far as I could go on holding out. Maybe next year I can hold out for a big one.

Not sure what a BIG coues looks like, But that looks like a Nice critter to me !!!!! Congrats on the deer, I like the looks of that terrain you're hunting .

the only draw back to shooting them in the canyon is every where you turn is up...!!!

Here's where I shot from, the rocks at the top. 268yds hit three of my four shots to put him down. He was a tough old boy.

I believe between Delw and a few of us down here we can set you guys up in some coues country. A lot of people say it's like a poor mans sheep hunt. Except you'll hike your butt of in cactus, cat-claw and thorny crap for an 80-90lb deer. But be careful they're addictive as all get out.
