Arrow weight

A 400 grain arrow with a good broad head and a 70 pd bow,has killing power out into the triple digits,it is just if you are accurate enough, and or if the animal moves.

You do not know what the animal might do during flight time, even if it is not due to any noise or movement you might have alerted it to. It might just forage ahead 18"-24" while the arrow is in flight. Then what have you done. People should work on getting closer, not shooting farther. I shoot out to 70 practicing because it magnifies any errors in your form but limit shots on game to less than 40, preferably less than 30. Less than 15 with a recurve.

I completely agree,I was just saying you have killing power out at distance.
