Arriving Late for Antelope Hunt?

I'd probably go opening day if it was some premium unit with a lot of land and less tags. For an easy draw unit I'd rather hunt the second week.

Don't think it'll hurt.... there are plenty of good goats out there and you may have to work a little harder to find that special trophy. I actually prefer the second week because hunting pressure seems to be lighter.

Son and I went late. Goats were skittish, but still stalkable. Only saw a couple of antelope hunters. That was nice.
