Arizona Unit 5 Deer

Well I drew an any antlered deer tag for the end of October in unit 5 and while I know the unit for elk I have never hunted deer there and with 7 cameras out I have all the elk located...lol and only one deer on the camera. I have the entire unit 5A and 5B so any pointers would be helpful - not having much luck on the cameras in 5A. Thanks in advance.

We have had fair success in 5 for Elk, but deer not so much.
15yrs of hunting deer and only 2 spikes.
The only reason we kept returning was we have a cabin in Pine
and 5 was easy to travel to. Lots of road hunters in there.

If you’re finding elk you’re looking in the wrong spots, find more brushy areas

Look for oaks and scrubby spots, get down in the draws. Brushy draws with water usually hold deer.
