Arizona Elk Unit 3C/3A

Are any of you guys familiar with Arizona unit 3C/3A? I drew an archery bull tag for Sept 12-25. I am pretty pumped and would appreciate any information on getting started with my scouting. I know people don't like to give out specifics on areas, I'd just like to know generally where to start.

I would start by calling the Game and Fish office in Pinetop and ask them for info,you might be able to talk to th biologist or gamewarden for those units. Good luck on your hunt

3 c was burned up last year you mite find some areas that didnt get burn an the elk will be arouind that area 3 a i have never hunted
