My brother(s) and I have been hunting archery Javelina in 18B along Burro Creek Rd for several years now, Have a pretty good feel for the country in the area we hunt. We always at least see animals, but is there maybe a better area within the Hunt Unit (17A, 17B, 18B, 19A, 19B, and 20A) we might try with higher animal density? I hear stories of guys seeing 40 animals over the course of a few days, we always see animals but nothing like 40. This hunt is mostly to get out of the cold here in Northern Nevada, and Southern Idaho, get out into some different country, have a good family time, but more animals always means more fun. I also must say we're of the older generation, we do get out, hike and cover some country, not much for driving the roads and washes, but nothing like a 30 something guy will do.
Maybe we're just not seeing what's there, but thought I'd ask.
