Hi; Lucky enough to get a 3C bull tag. Dont hate me, just help me. Not looking for a trophy but a nice six-by would be great. Iv'e been scouting the west side of the lake, toward the burn. Found a few, nothing to write home about. Any educated ideas?

Take the road that goes into the park in Overgaard south toward the rim road. When you get to the rim road, turn east. About 6 miles toward Pinedale there are several canyons on the north side of the road. Spend some time with binos checking out those canyons.

With a tag like that you should be telling us where the elk are! Damn it man get out there and beat it up a good tag is depending on it!!!! LOL! During your hunt the elk should be talking quite a bit so learn how to call now and you should have no problem locating them it will be a matter of which one you want to kill. Good luck.
