Anyone Tried The Kuiu Summit Refuge Shelter?

Oh boy talk about blowing this outta proportion. I haven't backpacked with a hot tent but I've been on enough cold camping trips to wish I had one. Sure would be nice to thaw out my frozen granola bars at night and not risk chipping teeth......

If your looking at a hot tent don't rule out Luxe Outdoor Gear. I have one and have been pretty impressed, it's not setup for hot tent but I have seen their bigger units. Pretty nice and a great company to deal with.

If you camped with a buddy or 2 it's more than do able to bring a hot tent. Just not as ideal for a single guy.

Agree with this. Seek Outside has some good stuff and if you want the extra comfort of a stove it works really well splitting the weight between that and the shelter with a buddy.
