Looking ahead to planning a hunt in MT in 2021 when my buddies kid turns 12.
have enough points that I can draw a limited archery hunt for elk and go back with with a buddy and his son for general deer.
I actually shot my first buck in Big Timber (but grew up in PA) on the Grosfield ranch on a trip I did with my dad and cousins When I was 16. Think we paid a trespass fee. Number of deer after hunting big woods and not seeing a buck for 3 years was awesome.
Anyone know if they still allow trespass fee hunting there? I thin my dad heard they started allowing a bunch of people on and quality of hunting decline some. But this is all 20 years ago.
