I started as the 4500th in ranking and am now 76 in the NE(built my $500 to just under $14,000). Not bad for a $4 limit. Contest runs til Sept, so there's plenty of time to play catch-up.

I only like no limit style, playing at the cope site is slow and boring, you can't bet enough to keep anyone out of a pot its all a drawing contest. I usually play for real money at least once a week locally, we have some big games around here locally. Few casinos around here have some good tournements, 11 dollar buy-ins, 20 dollar re-buys after the break, usually get around 80 guys.

You guys misunderstood me!! That $500 is the stake Copehagen gives YOU!! There is NO COSTS to play. No real money invested, no real money won unless you are one of the four regional champs. Those 4 get $5,000 and a trip to Vegas, sit down with a randomly drawn contest winner(again no money invested) with $10,000 in chips each. The winner take all gets $100,000 and a stake at the World's(normally a $10,000 entry fee). It's a good contest with EVERYONE having an equal chance regardless of funding.
I live close enough to the casinos in CT to make the trip once in a while and DO like Texas Hold'em. Especially, when I get a PAWS(bluffer)!! Even got a LOVELY pink baseball cap from Foxwood for my Royal Flush!! Now, if you get one I understand you're staked at a championship game. Oh well, just have to get another!!

As of 6PM #28 with $31200 !! It's getting tough now! Almost $2,000 between players!! But with my lay-off starting next Thursday EEEEEEhhhhAAAAA!!!
Should be in the top ten by the end of July to stay!!
