Just looking to get some information on hunting Monterey County. Im still new to hunting and have only been pigeon and rabbit hunting so far. Would like to start hunting turkey any information would be great.

I'm in Santa Clara County. There is good opportunity on public land in Monterey with Los Padres NF, Ft Hunter Liggett (quasi-public) and some sizeable patches of BLM on both sides of 101.
