Moosie,
I have several duck and goose bands I've accumulated over the years.
However my most treasured band is from a mourning dove!
I have no clue how I found the little thing when cleaning birds. But I did.
I shot the bird in Owyhee County in 1997 and the bird was banded near Tucson,AZ as a juvenile the summer prior.

We have a few ducks and geese up here in ND
and over the years I have taken one or two, but I have NEVER taken one that was banded. We did have a goose hanging around the farm one summer that had a collar on it but it was no where to to found when the season finally rolled around.
