Alliant Reloader 26 worth???

Well, you have the abrasive personality dialed in.
I have been abraided for the last week because i simply state my opinion that $40 lb for rifle powder is a fair deal for both parties. I sold 45 lbs of it last year for that price. Most i had bought under $20 just a few years ago.

Powder under $20 a few years ago? What powder? A friend of mine owns a bullet company and is hooked up pretty well. He couldn't get me under $20 per pound powder. mtmuley

I’m not sure how much RL26 I still have but maybe 2 8lbs and a small stack of small cans. When I run out I won’t be spending $200/lb, I’ll switch powders. That’s straight in the ass gouging. But if guys are dumb enough to spend that - gouge away.

I'm sure you know I was being sarcastic. I haven't used any yet. Might not even work for me. mtmuley

Not many shops I've stopped at has had Alliant Powder. If they did Rifle powders were running in the $70's. Did not see RL25 or RL26 though. Hodgdon ran $50-60 and Ram shot $40-50 (limited types available.). I know prices can vary based on market. However, I have not seen $20 powder for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised to see it come down a little more.
