So I’ll try to keep this short; I’m putting up some firearms for sale.
A few are mine, most were my brother’s whose no longer in a physical/mental condition to use them (yes age & Alzheimer's` are a BITCH) so my sister-in-law is asking me to liquidate them. All are currently now in my name and possession and I thought I’d offer them up to the HuntTalk brethren before going the GunBroker or consignment routes.

I don’t want to tie up Randy’s band width with a ton of pics so I’ll post a couple of each and a brief description but would be happy to send any additional info and other pics to anyone privately should there be something of interest to any of you.

A sliver of good news is that she (my SIL) is going contribute half the money from any sales to our local Search & Rescue team as she knows we are always pursuing any funding sources we can find.

One last thing, as I’ve never been a “seller” of ANY firearm online before (have always been on the other side of the ledger) please bear with me as I’m sure it will be a learning experience maneuvering through sales and shipping. Also I won’t be insulted by anyone making an “offer” if reasonable, just remember that most of these aren’t really mine to sell.

Thanks guys…buy early, buy often…probably more to follow!

Make sure you cover your FFL transfer fees and FFL shipping on the handguns in particular, you’ll have to ship those from your FFL to theirs. The long guns you can personally ship directly using USPS to theirs FFL so less hassle and usually about $50 postage/ins.

Also, Muzzy is not exempt from going through buyer FFL in all states, so just be wary if shipping to some if you are not 100% sure. That might be the buyer’s problem not seller though, since it’s their particular state and not federal law. But always best to know.

Even that has gotten more difficult, I don’t have access to an ffl who will accept from individuals anymore and that is among several shops.

That’s a good, though unfortunate point. Always verify the recipients FFL is willing to receive from an individual and confirm their packing / document instructions. I always ship with a copy of their FFL license in the box, along with my and recipients contact info, including a copy of my DL.

Thanks for the info @Bullshot (and everyone else) much appreciated!

I have that exact same 870. Purchased it in 1978. It's one of those that seems to fit and point for everybody. It has put a lot of quail, grouse, and even turkeys on the table.

Great shotgun.
LOL Jason...just had a near dustup over the 870 in the garage a few minutes ago. Neighbor down the street came over to look at it with his grandson (late 70s and mid-teens). Grampa was drooling on the Wingmaster for the kid and commenting that everything he's seeing online is pitted, cracked etc...kid comments "that's why I want a Benelli Nova!" The old man walks away saying "then go ahead and buy that plastic piece of shit instead of a real shotgun!"

I had to bite my lip from laughing outloud.
