I know most of you guys and been there and done that, but that is the reason I chose to take your advise! I had started a thread the other week asking about where my wife and I could go when we went to Vegas. It was a business trip, but decided to take her and spend a few extra days. This was her first time and I wanted her to have a great time and visit some of the surrounding areas.
As recommended, we went to Valley of Fire National (or state) Park, which we thoroughly enjoyed!
Then we went and stayed at Williams, AZ (also recommended) before going to the Grand Canyon. That absolutely took my breath away! TV or photos does not do it justice!
I also jumped off of the Stratosphere Tower on the Sky Jump!
That first step was scare-reee! That is 108 stories up by the way. It`s perfectly safe, but it`s a mind over matter thing!
Between the strip, Fremont, Valley of Fire, and Grand Canyon, she took over 600 pics.
