He got in touch with me to pull some information about my caribou hunt as he drew the same tag last season. Unfortunately he didn't get to hunt the caribou tag. He couldn't find anyone to fly him in solo for a reasonable rate. He's drawn the 608 caribou tag before and hunted it with his bow and taken an absolute beast of a bull. I don't have permission to post caribou pictures though...

(WDH i wish I could show you pics of Kens bull, made the one you and I packed out look like childs play.. killed in the same spot though btw )

Ken did take that killer ox. Said he stuck it at 14 yards and it walked ten and layed down.

Haven't heard how his montana buffalo hunt went yet.. Do you know?

Never heard of a MT buf hunt. Don't know.

Last I heard he was going to Montana at the end of November to hunt Buffalo. However, I never heard how it went. I'll be picking his brain more when draw results come out (hopefully).

No plans for sunday. Going to go scout out some spots for moose sheds on saturday. Saw almost 2 dozen moose in a canyon last weekend. Figure there has to be at least one shed there.

Im not exactly "off" on the weekends... I just got moved to third shift; so I work 10pm to 6am. I have the "day" off saturday/sun, but I still work those nights. Im still down for whatever durin the day, especially if someone else drives so I can powernap.
