Anyone recommend an aftermarket bumper company? Apparently plastic doesn't like being banged against the ground.

These guys are out of Lewistown, and I really want one of their bumpers. Pricey, but they’re popular around here and I see them holding up great on a lot of older rigs.

See a lot of the "move" DIY assembly bumpers around here. Seem to work if you have a welder around.

ARB on the 98 Tacoma and a china kit on the 01 F150, because the ARB was discontinued 6 months after the Tacoma was done. Pricey.
I lucked out on the china model...10 identical brands with different names. It went together well and is holding up. Looks & function good.
Added an 18 inch light bar on each. Another aftermarket company, as ARB wanted $500 for a pair of small lights that they never had in stock...
...only in America...

Use a move bumper on the rear of my truck, ranch hand on the front.
I am considering adding a plow which might require a Move front.
The old style ranch hand are pretty heavy.

Exterior coating hasn't lasted great over the last 5 years

What year chevy? Graves fabrication is a great bumper, higher end and customizable.

Move was mentioned, another good brand, TDK also. If you have a 1/2 ton think of stiffer shocks/springs for the added weight etc.

Ranch hand or frontier are similar also their powder coating didnt last very long for me, but that was 10 years ago.

In the end, doubt you can really go wrong with most of today’s companies.

It's a 2022 1/2 ton. I wouldn't mind changing the shocks, I'm not impressed with the stock ones that come with a trail boss
