Tickets? We don't need no stinking tickets... As for what it will do, it will scare the crap out of you.. 140 mph with about 1500 rpm to go before red line. I backed off of it.. Then I changed into clean pants!

Oscar, I had direct orders from my knees and my blood pressure. The doc made some subtle suggestions.. like loose some of it or die before your next elk tag in Arizona.

Elkay, It didn't come in a box.. It's real.

You do meet some of the nicest people in a Cobra!!

The car is fantastic, too. My uncle was VP, General Manager for Mickey Thompson Enterprises, when he was still racing - in fact, Uncle Kenny did a lot of the design and mechanical work on Thompson's Challenger, which briefly held the land speed record before Breedlove's rocket car beat it. Uncle Kenny always had bitchin' cars - Cobras, some custom car called a "Cheetah," a Studebaker Avanti, etc. Even my aunt's Pontiac Safari wagon had a 389 GTO engine in it....

I am green with envy about your new ride!!! You must cover up those black seats, though, as I imagine they would fry you if left in the Arizona sun for even a few minutes!

wowzers. beatiful car Danr. I rode in a 289hipo cobra once and I thought that was fast. Cant imagine the 427. How does it handle the corners with the heavy block?

Moosie,
1. I've lost 138 pounds as of yesterday.
2. All the car cost was my $401K almost all of it.
3. There you go making assumptions again. Just because she had her picture taken with the car, doesn't mean she's riding the driver.. Just a nice girl who was on the float behind us in the parade who agreed to have her photo taken with the car. I figured it would be better than the last female I had my picture taken with and posted on here.

Schmlats, No it's not real. It's all a computer trick.
