Found some old pics.actually 87'
'87 trip to WC BC Vancuver Is. south of Cape Beal.
NitNat Lake (tidal/fiord)w/ big river & streams dumping into it.
53lb Chinook salmon that towed me around for half an hour...
Spent the next 2 days smoking it over alder old school style in camp.

Neat! Sometimes I enjoy looking through old fishing and hunting pictures. I lived in Alaska for a few years but I never managed to catch a chinook that passed the 50# mark.
 
Cape Beal Light house,Prince Rupert Sound & the Broken Island chain, a mornings rockfish catch when salmon were off.
