I have never understood why these hunts to reduce elk numbers are not only valid on private ground only. That is where the problem is if they feel they are over run with elk deer whatever they should alow hunting there. Instead most of the elk get killed on public ground. Look at the breaks area. It is a horrible cycle just when hunting starts to get good they feel they need to kill everything agein. Then I drive by the flying arrow ranch and it makes me sick.

I have never once been hunting in MT and thought, "oh gee, there are just too many elk."

Obviously there is Federal laws involved but the inept elk, deer, and wolf management in MN would rival MT. Our only hope is to get Hilary and Trump on the same ticket to save us all.
