3006 what gr bullet.

I think the 165-168 grain bullets for the ‘06 is perfect, right amount of speed, accurate & once a good load is developed, no need to change, because of the game species.

I’d go with a 165 like most people said, I like federals trophy bonded tip, they hit pretty damn hard.

My guns have always done well with 165 in partitions or accubonds.

Anything. I like shooting 3000fps+ when I can, which points toward 150-155gr and there are some good bullets out there, however, most 30-06’s have a 1-10” twist and a relatively long throat. For the best possible accuracy many rifles will prefer 180-190gr projectiles.
