Anyone looking to get rid of a 25-06 let me know . I may be interested. Thanks.

My only qustion is ....why a 25/06? You could duplcate all the ballistic factors, (yes with a TAD less 'flat' shooting capability) with a cartridge of largrer diameter, less powder, less recoil, less weight and have a more versitle weapon.

I'm confused? You trade up in diameter and weight... you also trade up in recoil if you could even tell the diffrence.

Personally when talking recoil for me its starts at the 338 caliber, everything else is a cupcake.

I think a 25-06 is plenty versitle kept within its intended limits. Not sure what could 'upgrade' to that would really offer anything extra with less recoil.

I think their pretty bad azz, I think I'd rather have a 257wby though, but to each his own.
