2026 Garden

View attachment 409876View attachment 409877 winding down most of the garden is succumbing to the heat, disease, and pest pressure. Tomatoes are ripening well on some plants and on others not as much. Okra, sweet potatoes, winter squash are still going strong.
My cherry tomatoes are producing like crazy right now. I only have two of the sweet millions but im picking a quart or so every other day

Success! So far I've gotten 2 Mexican Sour cucumbers with the hand pollination. Even got the acorn squash hand pollinated and have about 5 growing now.

With all of the wind we've had lately what little corn actually growing is now pretty much almost flat. Most of it MAY come out of it but I actually said out loud "Why the hell did I even bother with it?" Beans have a few blossoms on them.

Vine borers got one of my zucchini plants. Got almost an inch of rain Saturday evening, that was nice. Pulling a couple strawberries off. Saturday I'll probably plant two more squash and zucchini in the bed that had potatoes. Lettuce is just about done with this heat. Tomatoes are humming along.

Scratch that, second zucchini got hit too. I cut them both open this morning to remove the grubs. Probably too late but theres always a chance they'll reroot above the damage. 20260618_062352.jpg20260618_062356.jpg20260618_062403.jpg
