2026 college football 🏈 thread , cuz @jimh406 said so …………

There's a lot of money in college football. Take a look at these two X posts. Some will say it is insane, but that's where it is going. The Tennessee project is $280 million due for 2028.

Currently at this moment, I don’t feel we’re getting a Return on our 50 million. QUACK 🦆

Dan Lanning is on the hook for this debacle , I’m no longer convinced that he’s the guy. USC on Sept 26 will show weather it’s the beginning of the end or Dan has got his chit together, Fridays game against BIG SKY opponent Portland State will show me nothing

Speaking of BIG SKY football, going to Bozeman this weekend for the CATS game , got a hotel downtown afterwards to walk around the restaurants and bars get food and enjoy the day ….

I can't imagine micro managing that many brand new multi millionaires' egos Chris...

Lots of swoosh money floating around Eugene, might even be a little too much of a good thing. Always going after the most expensive mercenaries available in the transfer portal may not be the best way to build a team, although results up till this year have been hard to argue with. I think they'll get this figured out, still a lot of season left.

Don't forget Oregon plays in a bit.

There's a new drinking game. If you guess wrong if they are passing or running, you have to take a shot. :D
Ha ha ha , ill Drink to that , well, apparently Portland State couldn’t do nothing with them 84-0 last night , but PSU is garbage…..

jeramiah McClellan one of our best wide receivers got injured in warm-up was on the sidelines and crutches during the game , and Jamari Johnson considered one of the best Titans if not the best tight end in the country got injured and practice after the Boise State game and hasn’t played for two weeks

And our offensive line which is complete ass still gave up a sack to Portland State. I’m not convinced this team is right regardless of last night score against a weak opponent.

I’m happy the defense only gave up 103 yards in 4 qtrs and the offense did gain 726 yds

Next weekend @ USC Trojans will tell us if this years Ducks are gonna fade into irrelevance for the season or contest for a playoff spot

I’m on the fence. I was listening to one of the former players last night. Talk about this team and he thinks they’ve got a fragile mentality. Not good for a football team
