Ditch the beam scale and get an electronic one. I started with a gempro and used a weight spoon and my trickler, it worked better. However, A charge master dispenser is absolutely worth the cost.

Well I ended up with $500 worth of Cabelas gift cards. Only logical thing was to buy a gun. Then I noticed they had a Browning x bolt hunter green on closeout. Was $799, on sale for $549 plus $100 rebate. Then I got $300 worth of gift cards at a local farm store that sell Leopold. So I bought a scope to put on it. Out of my own pocket $78.00 combined. Ended up getting a 6.5 creed because I don't have anything on the low end for deer and Antelope. I already have a bunch of ammo so why not. Got the Leupold Freedom scope with the 6.5 Creedmoor reticle. They still have more of the guns on sale, with other calibers. Its a smoking deal for an X-bolt if your looking.

Its got a digital, but I've heard mixed reviews on their accuracy. I have a Lyman that I use for my muzzleloader so I'll at least be able to verify.

Christmas is when I acquire 99% of the clothing I own, which is a good thing, and I always look forward to some good flannel shirts. I was also gifted a remote starter for my pickup, which I’m really looking forward to.

There was nothing I really wanted or needed, I got a big bottle of Pendleton Whiskey, 200 Scheels gift card, I’ll probably put to some new Kenetreks, 300 gift card to the record store , new cologne
and my new LEGENDARY MERICA travel mug with a new white elk-tail species!!!! Time to fire the intern that Photoshopped elk antlers and put them on a whitetail on a mug. Wife didn’t even notice. Ha ha ha …. She bought it off Amazon , get’em while there hot
I was like Ho hum , till I got home and looked at it up close in the light
now it’s my favorite gift

Every year I ask for a book that is discussed by the HT crowd. Last year it was Killer Angels. This year it is Young Men and Fire thanks to the Mann Creek Thread.

My wife bought me a yoga mat and a 8 class pass to a local yoga studio. I said I loved it but I don't know if that actually qualifies as a Christmas gift.

As a civil war buff I think Killer Angles is an all-time great read. How did you like it?
As for Young Men and Fire, having read it twice I think the first 75% is great, but the last part really looses me. Just my perspective. Hope you enjoy it.

When we were in Oklahoma, we were right next to robertsons! Never did get to try it, though. I heard their ham sammiches are spectacular.

Negative, got an offer from a company out of Texas. They had a market in Billings and i jumped on the opportunity to learn something new at a decent starting rate. Overjoyed to be back home in Montana!!

It was an excellent Christmas for me! I got a new MEAT! grinder, the LEM stuffer (MEAT! had poor reviews)
A new jerky cannon. Some Carhartt Biberalls for work. Got my 3rd replacement of the same knife. Love the green grippy 2.5” replaceable…
And one of my favorite gifts this year- my oldest son saved up $100 of his allowance $$ to get me something I’ve wanted a long time. These are arguably the most iconic skate shoe in history. The original 1999 Osiris D3. Big ol’ beetle stompers
Most you geezers won’t identify, but if I got any shredders in the house maybe they’ll “get it”.
