2018 Wyoming Pronghorn Hunt

Thanks for the comments everyone. It was pretty neat to scout that first buck out the day before the opener and then have him on the ground within an hour of shooting light on opening morning.

I've looked some more on the land that was marked private property and based on 2 other sources it was BLM and State Trust land. I sure wish the penalties for wrongly posting land as private property were the same as they are for actually trespassing onto private property. I don't think there is any punishment at all other than making them take the sign down. At least they didn't come out and hassle us or try to ruin our hunt.

I think I've settled on a euro mount on this one. I'll save the shoulder mount for the chance I may end up taking a bigger one sometime down the road. Pronghorn hunting is something that I should be physically able to do well into my 70's if I am still alive that long. Maybe I'll be able to track an 82"+ down someday.
