2017 MT whitetail

I'm finally done hunting for a few months and was just reflecting on this past season. This is a cool whitetail that I was unable to pass on thIs past November in Montana!! Took him with my old Remington 722 .257 Roberts. No great story, found him chasing does in a creek bottom, lost sight of him 3 or 4 times, played cat and mouse a little. My heart would sink a bit everytime I lost sight of him!!the last time I saw him, he appeared out of nowhere broadside at 75 yds! Hope everyone is as pumped for the 2018 season as I am.

Thanks guys. It was a tough call, a very limited draw HD and took him on day 2!! Spent the remaining 20 days chasing elk!! I had such an amazing time learning the habits of November elk that I am still on cloud nine! Unsuccessful in harvesting an elk, but learned so much through trial and error, I wasn't deserving of an elk as the errors outweighed the trials!!!!! 2018 will be my year for elk!!thanks again.
