Get them while they're hot. I just received my 2017 locking tags for moose and caribou that I purchased at 2016 prices. I know there was a time a couple of months ago where people thought they could buy 2017 tags at current prices, but Alaska denied the purchases. It appears until the end of the year, however, you can actually purchase and receive the tags.
