I drew elk tags in Nevada & Utah with 3 points and Arizona with 4points I always put in for a unit with only one or two Nr tags. Then your chances are just as good as a guy with 10 points. It took me 46 years to draw a montana sheep tag as a resident. So thats a crap shoot. If you apply for sheep in montana pick an area that has the smallest number of es tags most guys put in for the areas that have the most tags. But more apply for them areas.
