Do you still make scope mounts for a Ruger No 1? I have a No 1 in .463 S&W mag. I have Leupold extended rings and a Vortex Diamondback 3-12x42 mounted. I still have to crawl up the gun to see properly through the scope. A better mount might permit proper mounting and a better choice in scopes.
